    Alot of fighters say things they dont mean in the heat of the moment novice,How manny times did DLH said he would retire right after a loss?

    I'm going to add a bit to what's already been explained about the 10-point must system:

    KDs are not an automatic point deduction, so when both men are KD'd in the same round, you still give the "winner" of the round 10 points. The closest thing you'll get to a round where the winner doesn't get 10 points is when the winner or the round is deducted a point by the referee for a foul. Even in this case, when you see the judges' scorecards, it doesn't say 9 - 9, but rather 10 (-1) - 9.

    I actually scored Round 1 10-9 Maidana, for reasons already stated by others who did the same. I thought Maidana's KD was clearly more effective, as Ortiz was somewhat unsteady after being knocked down. Maidana also continued to land more effective punches in the final stages of the round. Looking at the entirety of the three minutes, I thought Maindana had gotten the better of Ortiz by a slight margin.
