    caballo the source is wrong in it's explanation. if you look at the other post he spells it out clearly.

    the winner of a round can get 9 points but not the way you are arguing it. the only way within the rules for that to happen is for the winner of a round to have a point deducted by foul. not knockdowns

    Still, my point with you is that a winner of a rd could still have only 9 out of 10 ptS. (WHICH YOU ALREADY CONCEDE)
    Then again, I'm not so sure anymore, as ITALRICAN has pointed out some issues here. He might be right & me wrong, AND viceversa. I'm not a boxing genius , but an avid fan. If I am wrong, plz accept my apologies, I will keep doing some research on the subject though!:p

    i never said the winner could not have 9 points (post #9) he can but not by your reasoning. italirican fleshed it out better than i did but same principle.
