I think fights just look different when your watching them on tv. Your able to see alot more than if your sitting ring side. Just look at pacquiao/hatton. Lampley and steward both sounded shocked when hatton went down the first time. It was like they didn't even see all the beating he had been taking before that.
Harold seems like a nice guy,but like Bert Sugar is senile and living in the past. Perhaps it's time he gets his eyes checked out.:good
Harold Lederman and Teddy Atlas have a lot in common when it comes to scoring fights. They get most rounds right most of the time, but both also provide a lot of "what the ****" moments.
:think I dont see nothing wrong with that...sometimes aggression beats Clean effective punching...sometimes Ring generalship beats agression...etc...
hes never that far away from he actual cards so hes either getting fed the nubers or hes actully a good gauge as to where the fight is at
Lederman's sexy smooth voice the only reason I keep the sound on. I love it when Lampley takes a big pause, after hearing Lederman's reasoning. "Well, uh... you viewers watching from home must keep in mind that Lederman is unofficially scoring the match. However, his daughter is officially judging tonight, and is known to score differently than her father."
I actually find myself agreeing with Harold Lederman probably 95% of the time. I find that he usually particularly UNBIASED to the sometimes favoritism of the HBO commentators.
I actually think Lederman is the exception in that he places a lot of emphasis on ring generalship (I do too) rather than the other areas.
Politics. This is a guy just like Max Kellerman. He is probably the brother in law to one of the producers who had to have his mom tie his shoes till the age of 35. You have to understand the entertainment industry. It is a bunch of clowns and animals. Obviously he was not a fighter (animal) so he is a clown.
