thing is, and i agree with his cards too, but a lot of the time he gets the winner right, ie he picks the same as the actual judges do, so iv got to be thinking, all of us that think judges are wrong, despite how obviously wrong they seem to be, maybe they are right lol
the guy who wins the fight wins the fight, dont be swayed by what someone else says, if you think one guy won then you have a say. most people i have talked to said kotelnik won aswell as myself.
Lederman gets a lot of crap from fans but I think he does a pretty good job. Has he had bad nights? Sure, but never anything REALLY bad. I think that Lederman sees the fight better than most people, I often see exactly where he is coming from. The problem is he calls it as he sees it, without bias, so when people compare their heavily biased scores against his and they find there is a discrepancy they erroneously think it is Lederman who got it wrong...
His scoring was ridiculous He gave the 8th to Alexander, where he got beat so bad he couldn't even speak when he collapsed on his stool at the end of the round
yeh but mostly he has the same winner as the judges have, so mayb they are all picking from the same criteria, as he used to be a judge himself. im not sayin he is right, but he picks the same winner as they do
Harold letterman has about 20 credible boxing sources agreeing with him , including the three judges.
I just saw the Alexander / Kotelnik fight and I wanted to say that while I still stand by my original post, I think Lederman did a terrible job scoring that fight... I can accept Alexander winning, but not by a large margin like that. Nonetheless, I think it was more the exception and less the rule...
