Whats the crack with the four fights he had since his comeback , Frank Dodzi stoppage where this report said he picked up the WBF Welterweight world crown to add to the WBF Intercontinental title he won in February against Michael Kelly with a 2nd round stoppage.

Though Boxrec has his last fight listed as a points win over Ivan Godor in April 2013 ? Were these professional contests ? Or is Boxrec wrong ?

Didn't even know he was still fighting. I was at his fight against Shafikov when he totally ****ed it and bottled it from a hand injury. Sky came all the way to Aberdeen to televise it and he ****ed it in front of his own fans.

I'm glad you attended the show (if you actually did) but you were not in the ring and cannot comment on how Lee's body was at that time. It's not Like Denis was punching holes in Lee and it was pretty close on the cards so why just f*ck it and bottle it? And to confirm it was a tendon that came away from the elbow not a hand injury.

Just to confirm that Lee is boxing with a BIBA license, I don't agree with him fighting on this license and i have asked him on more than one occasion to stop wasting the last couple of years he has left fitting in this mickey mouse organisation but he seems happy doing so.

Although I don't like it I'm happy that Lee is back in the ring as he had to retire due to long standing injuries and he would have always been kicking himself if he didn't give it another bash albeit on a stupid license.

Fair enough. My post was probably a bit disrespectful in hindsight. But I just feel in front of the home crowd try and go out on your shield. Sure I have no idea what the pain must have been like for Lee but Danny Williams KO'd a man with one arm and David Deron Haye battled bravely with a torn Achilles.

IIRC I had Shafikov up clearly before the injury.

I'm sure one of the judges had Lee up and the other 2 a point down but not 100% on that, maybe Lee could have went on and been KO'd or maybe he would have done a Danny Williams and KO'd him. We will never know and lee has had to live with what might have been since that fight. It was the chance for him to mix it with the big boys, maybe if the injury hadn't happened to him previously (when he needed an operation to fix) he might have managed to get through on just adrenaline.

So did I but I don't remember it as an "injury" loss. Sure he claimed he was injured.

In my opinion McAllister quit, he was getting slapped around and he quit.

All I remember is that the fight was stopped after one of the rounds and then Lee was pointing to his hand. That's why I thought it was a hand injury although David above has now clarified it was something else. Fans were just in disbelief, we defo didn't think Lee would be the type to give up.

I'm just going on how I remember the fight, it was a long time ago.

I'm sure I remember Jim Watt or somebody on Sky (maybe a couple of pundits) questioning his decision to quit and them basically questioning if he was looking for a way out.

But If he was genuinely injured then fair enough, I apologise to anybody who I offended/upset with my assessment.

It is easy for Jim Watt etc to come out and say what they think but they don't really know Lee and are going only on what they watched on the night!

Don't think anyone would have been offended/upset but i just thought it was worth clarifying where the injury occurred. Tbh I think it was more the interview afterwards that made it seem the way it was but anyone who knows Lee properly knows he was gutted he had too do what he did.
