Thinking of going down to it as I'm boxing in Glesga that weekend and we get into Glasgow on the Friday. I know hes fighting some unheard of African but hes a good wee fighter.

Anyone thinking of going to it?

(Also make a weekend of it with the Scottish Intermediate Championships that weekend)

Ok so do you believe globally applauded Boxrec or the two time world champion?

FWIW think Lee might come into prominence this year, looked good against Murray, needs to get his act together and fight some decent folks on the TV.

His opponent, for a commonwealth title fight, is appalling.

What happened to Commonwealth boxing..... Where are David Tetteh, Smith Odoom, Felix Bwayla, Alfred Kotey, Ike Quartey, Philip Ndou, Romani???? African boxing seems to have gone to **** of late.

I know back in the day it meant heaps. Lionel Rose and Johnny Famechon held it back in the day and the Canadians, Africans top class guys all competed for it.

You will find out on the night I guess :good

    Look at this guys record:

    http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=215057&cat=boxer

I moaned about it before he fought Sexton. 18-8-1 doesn't look that bad on paper, but when you look at it closer.......

Pretty sure it said in the local press he has had 20 fights unbeaten in Ghana but they were not recorded as they were all at some Ghanian Stadium.

I expect Lee to stop this guy within 6 rounds.
