McAllister will face a fighter at the weight above his normal weight as he says he is struggling to make weight

Does anyone no if he has vacated his commonwealth lightweight belt

don't think so, the way i read it is that he is starting to feel it is getting harder so he is testing the waters at 10 stone for a move up in the future. it also says on boxrec he is in line for a shot at the euro lightweight crown

Would like to see Lee in with decent UK competition-no interest in him beating on Ghanans for rubber title belts.

utterly pointless but I don't wanna hear anyone that defended Willie Limond pipe up in here slagging of McAllister.

i think he has been hampered with injuries for the last couple of years and has finally had to get them sorted before it damaged him long term. hopefully after this fight he can kick on and start getting the fights against the top boys

i can't see the point of lee fighting the night before the WBO world title fight, there will be next to no press coverage for this meaningless title.

Could of had Lee Vs. Arthur on the Burns bill.

Maybe Arthur has an opponent, dunno like.

Ones just tried LWW and is coming back down and one wants to.

    Anyways :good

his fanbase is quite good in aberdeen is it not (so he wouldn't need big press coverage)? maybe he counting on them turning out to support him rather than going down to glasgow to see burns?

As a former world champion at the the weight (and a two weight world champion to boot, no less) McAllister should be comfortable back up at LWW IMO

Nothing...these belts are **** for boxing but a guy has got to make a living. Lee will hopefully use the belt for one fight then get back into the domestic title scene and euro....the problem comes when boxers are champs of these belts with 4.5 defences and show no intention of fighting credible opponents.

The only word that springs to mind when it comes to this find is begins with a P and ends with and S.
