no lee had to nominate himself and the only person he could have fought was the mandatory challenger who is the african.we would have no hesitation boxing lee,as i say i hope he wins .

 

Mcallister v Limond would be a good event for Scottish boxing.

 

yes the press will be at the ricky burns fight simply because he's a better fighter it's a better fight and it's got TV coverage,be honest with yourself ricky's fight is far more appealling and to think otherwise is totally wrong.

 

I would've. I'm on the press list for Tommy Gilmour's fights. Unfortunately I'm gonna be in Germany for the Haye fight. Flying out on the 18th.

 

Limond would knock McAllister around the ring, i'd love to see that!

 

Did Lee not challenge Limond to a fight about 2 or 3 years ago?
Pretty sure I remember a piece about it and Limonds trainer/promoter saying it would be a risky fight for him and he tried to get McAllister onboard with his camp because he is a sell out fighter in the north east.

 

Hope McAllister wins the Commonwealth title and a defence against Limond would be a cracking Scottish fight.

lee was never touted to join my gym and if im correct he never had any form of rating when he tried to get a match with willie.although willies got plenty to bring to the table only 2 defeats amateur or professional since 1996
