theres one simple solution to this COME to Glasgow and fight Scotland's No1 LW Willie Limond instead of the people hes fighting,im sure it would make sense with 2 good ticket sellers but it wont be risked imo

The WBO is probably the most credible of the four at the minute.

The WBC is ridiculously biased in favour of big name Mexicans and hypejobs, the WBA has a million champions per weight division and the IBF rank complete and utter spastics in their top 5.

It's not anything that they are doing right..... it's that they are doing a little bit less wrong

If you look at most of the best fighters in their divisions, if they hold a title it's generally the WBO.

Wlad, Pacquiao etc.

 

Would like to see him getting in the domestic mix a bit more as I think there could be some exciting fights, I thought he boxed well in the murray fight despite getting stopped by that cracking body shot.

Probably be a bigger fight in Aberdeen Billy, but Id pick Limond over Lee.

 

I would dissagree mate,apart from burns,limond is the 2nd biggest ticket seller in scotland.Lee is a name in Aberdeen but imo needs to broaden his horizons

 

Who was he lined up to fight after Morales ?

 

Maybe hurt his hand ?

Maybe thought ****it why bother when he saw who was offered to him ?

He was asked to spar Morales for his next fight i thought, in turn Limond asked for a place on the undercard........dunno how its panned out though.

 

a question for you billy? does it pay well being willie limonds publicist? anytime someone at lightweight is fighting you start the limond chat. imo willie should start fighting again and force the fights to happen.

 

What I was thinking was that Lee is a very big name in Aberdeen, but Id be surprised if many but the hardcore fans knew him in Glasgow.
Limond would be better known from fighting Khan and Morales, and this fight could be built into something bigger IMO in Aberdeen. The AECC would be a good venue for this.
