big deal getting made in the Scottish news that he is the 1st Scottish boxer to simultaneously hold the Commonwealth title at two different weights.

I ain't hating on the guy here but how is he allowed to hold on to his 135 title seeing as he hasn't defended it in 15 months?

his fight after the poor performance at Bellahouston was for the IBO International Light Welter title.

    something fishy here me thinks!

    :huh

If Frankie gets past Curtis unscathed then McAllister would be the logical next opponent for him.

why. another **** fight in my opinion. just because he has a title doesn't mean he should fight him.

Theophane, a genuinely decent fighter probs a gate keeper around the top 25 in the world. he is the only domestic level fighter worth facing.

I should have put more context to what I was proposing. I meant within two months of the Curtis fight he should go for the Commonwealth if he gets throughout that no problems, so he could build some momentum before going for Theophane. Main reason being that there isn't much on the European scene that will prepare Frankie for the world level, he might as well up his competition with each fight rather then take a pretty step up and then have to take a step because there are no fights available to him. Taking on McAllister would be a step up from the likes of Mutley (passed it IMO) Woodhouse (lacks experience) and would prepare him for another step up against Theophane.

Theopahane won't fight Gavin. If Gavin gets mandatory, Theopahane will probably vacate. Theopahen has been offered a fight with Jesse Vargas on the Mayweather-Ortiz undercard.
