Predictions ? I think Lee beats him on points. I expect the Vera common opponent thing to be used here a lot, i think Lee has improved since that fight, a fight he was winning and got caught, happens. McEwan aint much of a puncher, so i think it will a very tactical fight that Lee wins.

Andy lee ud, because i think both have reasonably similar styles and Lees simply better boxer of the two.

Andy Lee to win on points. 97-93

Lee is similar to McEwan but just that bit more sharper and carries more power. He'll dominate the first half of the fight, McEwan might work his way back into it and win a few rounds in the latter half of the fight. I'd be impressed if Lee stops McEwan because he is a tough fella.

I was just away to post that, and as an amateur he ran out of steam last round quite a few times.
Hes a good boxer, but last fight I saw of his he got hit an awful lot, which I never saw happen to him as an amateur international. Dunno if it was an off night or if hes gone as far as he can.

i think craig mcewan is the perfect person to point out when people start going on about fighters need to move to america to improve, craig has been at the wild card gym with freddy roach for years and with no improvement and may have actually got worse, i saw alot of him as an amateur and he was a very tricky boxer who didn't get hit often. in the fights i have saw lately from him he is easy to hit and his stamina didn't look the best. i expect lee to win comfortably on points because craig has a decent chin.

    Nice one

I mentioned the weight in the newspaper article, just didn't bother when putting out the entire thing for the internet. People know, or are they over 160 for this one?

I hope Craig wins btw. He was a fantastic amateur, but did at times gas. I thought he had a genuine shot at being a world champion, but sometimes lacked something, maybe a nastiness.
Hes a nice guy, very funny.
