Seriously, **** off with this 'irish posters overrate such and such'..Nobody is saying he is gonna clean up the middleweight division, nobody is saying he is gonna be P4p fighter. All we are saying is that he can beat McEwan and has a very good punch, which is all true.....

Im sure i read somewere a.poster saying that te reason pacmqn never defended his light middleweight bel was because he was scared in case lee went down.and issued a challange!

Who, where and when Mckay or STFU with your BS! :good

You are right, there is little between the pair, however, I just think that Lee edges him in every deptartment and that will be the deciding factor this weekend.

Yeah that's the match up we all want. Winner gets Mayweather.

Anyway, this thread needs a poll

Lee can easily clean up the middleweight division within the next year. Then in 2012 he should take the giant leap up to heavyweight, bypassing the divisions in between in order to take what is rightfully his from Haye and the Klitchko's.
By 2013 he should have nothing left to prove in the bigger weight categories, so I reckon he should go on a strict diet whereby he will lose up to 7 stone in order to contest the lightweight championship....

It'll be a hectic 2 and half years for Lee, but I believe its all very possible.

Right for me its a pick em fight. The reason I say it is that Lee is expected to win the fight not only over here but in the US and to put on a display to get a fight for a World title. McEwan is in a win win situation no matter what happends on the night but he will go into the fight with no fear he hasnt been beaten and will feel he has the tools to beat Lee. I like Lee as a fighter but his defence at times is a bit loose for my liking. I would slightly lean towards a Lee win but it wouldnt surprise me if McEwan got the win on the night. I just hope Lee isnt thinking about the prospect of fighting for a World title and over looking McEwan.

Irish posters do grossly over rate Andy Lee but I fancy him to win a close decision, maybe even split.

Just seen that Lee is 1/5 and Mcewan is 10/3, surely Mcewan is value at those prices. Lee is rightly the betting favourite though.

Alright Alba, Im very well cheers mate:good Well thanks for the info, good to see you have got a bit of inside info, cos we certainly dont hear enough about Craig in the papers up here so thanks for the update!

Im sure if Craigs head is right for the fight he beats Andy Lee Alba, but I am worried that Craig is gonna show Lee too much respect if you know what I mean, & just be happy to go the distance! I hope Im wrong, but its worrying me a lot!

Lee is decent, but Craig has pure natural talent, & if he just believes in himself he can box big stiff Andys ears off! He has to believe though...

McEwan is average. He has a weird style that I don't believe really works for him. Or indeed will work for him at the next level. Average power and speed too.

Whereas Lee at the least, has speed. I think he'll win this. Surprised if he's 1/5 though, thats a bit odd considering Vera-gate.

 You feeling a bit menstrual lad? I wasn't playing the 'All Irish boxing fans overrate all Irish fighters' schtick, I was simply saying that from posts on numerous threads on here, a lot of you Irish ESB'ers seem to rate him much higher than I do.
