IIRC, Ruiz was a last minute replacement against Conlan. So he probably hadn't adequately prepared.

He's amazing as Jerry Falwell, the Evangelical blowhard in The Eyes Of Tammy Faye from 2021 as well.

Danny jabbing every time he gets in range, Dennis throws out a few rights, but Danny slipping them. Upjabs from Danny. Tons of nervous energy and movement from Dennis, but landing little. Danny tripped over his foot, then tried to bait Dennis in. A few body shots larte from Danny.

Man, you definitely know TOO MUCH about films, much respect. I wish I was a bigger movie buff. Need to stop watching things on repeat and watch other stuff too. I still haven't watched Alien and Aliens but should do it this weekend.

Round 6 Dignum wins by TKO

Danny closing the gap much better. Bashing him with several one twos, keeping him up against teh ropes. He's following up on that success throughout. Unloading bombs non stop, Dennis is cut, Dennis goes down, he makes it back up, he's woozy. Danny going for the kill, he goes down again, back up again. Danny puts him down seconds later for a third time, the ref waves it rightfully, Dennis had nothing left.

Thank you.:D Evidently I was blessed with an incredible memory. I rarely forget a face, also as a child, I had an OCD like fixation on learning everyone's names in the films I watch. So that training made it almost reflexive at this point. And yeah, I was wondering how that turned out. Keep us informed on your thread when you get around to it.

Wow, fair play to Ruiz but expected better from McGregor, back to the drawing board for him!
