Rough night for Wasserman.

 

It's hilarious because of the way he was mocking Dovbyshchenko before the fight, even commenting on his social media posts. He was laughing at him, completely dismissing him so it's great to see a tall cocky guy get humbled.

 

Dovbyshchenko is a good, tough journeyman, much better than his record suggests. He's now based in London , I think he will cause more upsets to undefeated prospects here. He could be the new Sokolowski

Yes , think it was 6/8 of their fighters lost. But to be fair it was a good card and plenty of matched fights, that's all we want to see as fans, who cares about unbeaten records.

watched most of it on catch up now, quite a few upsets. Hope Mcgregor rebulids. Good interview with him in this week's Boxing News. Interesting point that the fella he beat in his 5th fight (Essomba) is now European champ and Mcgregor is nowhere really. Him and Farooq have had some very bad luck, Farooq especially so.

 

That was a great card last night and proves that there is no need to fork out Box Office money for bang average fake beef fighters.

 

McGregor fought his heart out last night and I cannot imagine an Anthony Joshua type dealing with the constant high tempo and pressure put on him by the Mexican.

He can come again but I would advise him that he needs a skipping lesson from Ricky Burns.

 

McGregor has had a torrid few years. His dad was hit by a lorry and was in hospital for months. Had other family issues and financial worries through various fight dates falling through.

Hope he rebuilds well. Seems a sound lad.
