Go back and watch the 4th, nothing clear about it. Lee was being the sharper matador in there and much of Farooq's aggressive was ineffective.

That, or since they were standing right behind him, maybe they looked over the announcers shoulders.:nusenuse:

I am glad you spotted that. He had to tell his own goddamn team not to give the game away and celebrate before the dicsion was annouced...

    Yeah, they knew what's up.

Since I scored it for Farooq, I agree. But the robbery talk is nonsense. 114-113 McGregor is feasible. The only thing crazy was the 115-112 card.

The wrong guy gets to win and goes on to better things.

Feel bad for Farooq all the hard work down the drain because of the robbers.

    Magreggor doesn't deserve that win.

I think McGregor at best, at the very best, won 4 rounds. Then, if you add in the point deduction, there is simply no way to score it for McGregor or even score a draw.

The work-rate, volume, forward pressure, relentless non-stop punching and accuracy of clean hard shots by Farooq dominated McGregor all night long. McGregor was missing and hitting nothing but clean air throughout the fight, he was running and when Farooq caught him he was clinching and holding on. Then there was also the dirty tactics and fouling by McGregor, he was lucky to only lose 1 point. When he threw Farooq throw the ropes that should have also been a 1 point deduction.

This was a robbery, not the worst ever robbery and not the weakest one either. It was still a very clear and obvious robbery.

The right man did not get the decision by the judges.

For the record, I predicted a McGregor KO on this thread before the fight even started. McGregor is a freaking HUGE Bantamweight, he stands at 5ft 10in (as Alex Arthur and Nick Halling mentioned during the fight and after) and re-hydrates 15 to pounds or more. Just look at the size difference between the 2 or look at them both when they have faced Scott Allan and see just how much bigger McGregor is. Farooq on the other hand is a average sized Bantamweight, 5ft 5in and rehydrates maybe 4 or 5 pounds.

I sympasize with Farooq because he fought his heart out to win tonight, but got robbed.

Slim pickings this weekend.... UFC main event is more interesting and Shogun is competing in a winnable fight. But even that card is pretty crap.
