Lee Purdy vs Carson Jones confirmed for Dec.

Excellent match-up and could be 'fight of the night' on any card. Purdy will relish an opponent who will stand and have a tear-up with him and I think he'll excel on the night. Don't know if he has enough about him to win but Jones doesn't fight like the guys who give Purdy trouble. Purdy just needs to learn to move his head a little more and he could really be in business!!

 

War Purdy! This is a tough fight, the Brook fight made me a fan of Carson Jones, he reminds me of Glen Johnson :good

Surely a war and should tell us something about Purdys level. Well done for Hearns recycling Jones as an opponent when he is hardly a true welterweight test.

Looking forward to that should be a good fight. A lot of people saying Jones early but he was a very very slow starter against Brook he didn't get in his face and really make him work. I like Lee going to be interesting to see how he reacts when Jones wakes up. I'll say Jones late stoppage but this fight should be good.

 

FOTN on the one card? Bugger that, I could see this being the domestic FOTM and international FOTW.
