On BBC 3 now. 6 minutes in it seems pretty cack.

This voice over guy is patronising the life out of me.

What this show is showing is Lee Selby has achieved is outstanding considering his lack of training/facilities/opportunities. Hes got to the top by pure natural talent

Talent and hard work yes. It has been good to watch now actually I'm enjoying it now. That sparring session with Valdez and Selby seemed to show Valdez was on top but that 10 weeks out.

Yeah, over the years you could tell there was something different about Selby. This has kind of answered a few thoughts about him and I feel more endeared towards him.

It's another Joe Calzaghe story really. Good to see he's a humble lad hopefully a few big fights with Quigg and Frampton down the road.

I don't get the whole 'Welsh Mayweather' tag. He is nothing like him in any way, shape or form.

And Lee comes across like a wannabe black thug, IMO.

Comes from the fighting style, hit and not get hit, slick counter puncher. Personality is completely different but other than the shoulder roll, he has a similar fighting style.

Great insight. Easy to criticise. To come from what he has & to do what he has is an achievement in itself. So easy to go a different way

cant he just be a thug ? why does it have to be a "black" thug. I dont see that at all guy is confident and i certainly wouldnt feel unsafe around him defo not a thug
