I see warrington giving selby problems but think selby wins on points

 

Selby will not be schooling warrington no way. It was only 2 fights ago that selby was mediocre according to most.
Since then hes beaten 2 fighters who have the same style the come fwd pressure fighter who dont cut off the ring. Which is hardly a tough style to beat for a decent boxer. What selby doesnt like is someone been able to get in quick past his jab via an angle then anticipate his escape route.
Selbz has decent evasive tactics but the rest of his defence is poor warrington has v.good defense in all departments.
By the time these two meet josh will be too fast too accurate too slick.
Selbz doesnt deal with educated pressure and josh will be too clever.

 

Mate im not making a deluded or fan statement when i say josh will beat selby he certainly wouldnt any of the other top 3 at this point no way. But unless selby shows me some major improvements before these two meet something within his style that i feel josh wont be able to deal with too good then warrington will beat him.
When josh was english and selby was british there was talk then of these two meeting and i was the first to say that he wasnt ready for selby but i dont believe that is the case anymore.

I never questioned your opinion mate. Ive been a big warrington fan since he beat my cuz his a talented kid. Just favour selby

 

Where would the fight be? If its at Ellend road Warrington will have home advantage which could rattle Selby but surely as Selby is champ should be in Cardiff!?

The fight will b where it makes most business sense. Warrington sells big tickets selby doesnt his always a chief support.if it happens it will b in leeds

 

Business sense for who? Eddie Hearn, Selby or Warrington.

Selby is champ, why would he risk defending on hostile territory, surely Warrington should capture a belt for unification before expecting the champ to come to Leeds.

The only way that works for Selby is to get a big% cut and Hearn to convince him its an easy defense.

You don't take 50/50 fight on hostile territory if you're the champ.

 

I think Selby is aiming a little higher than Warrington at the moment anyway, in Santa Cruz

 

It will b where it makes the most money for hearn selby and warrington. It wont bother selby he knocked smith out in liverpool.
