Not bad considering his last 2 opponents. For all we know this guy could be good. I've looked at Youtube and can only find one fight, Okine-Tagoe. So, I don't know which of the fighters he is as this Tagoe dude only has one fight on the 'tube too - against Okine. So, from the little I've seen, Okine is either a fighter that likes to be on the back foot, throws out "nothing" punches and has a (somewhat) impressive philly-shell defence. Alternatively, Okine is a come forward banger with half-decent head movement but wild swinging shots. I think he is this one.
i speak to him on fb and twitter and he staying at feather. he fighting at super feath at a catch weight of 9st2 ( the ben jones fight was at that weight to)just to keep active.
Off topic but anyone seen this? http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=150328&start=25
I was speaking to Mr Smith the other day. And he sure comes accross as a man whos intending to move back down to Feather.:deal
Edit that before Frank sees it. 9ko's in 11. I dont think you're sticking ya neck on the line much there.
He sure says/said he wants to put the the wrongin, right. I was hoping to see these two together after their next fights (we'll see) oh by the way Im sparticus:deal
And..because you speak to him, that means he 100% wants the fight? Smith is shook, he doesn't want to get sparked again :deal
I do have to agree, the proof is in the pudding and Selbys record says it all. How he does it though is beyond me. Obviously the kid has power but how he generates it is a mystery. Had to laugh when he said John S. is flat footed. Selbys footwork is atrocious.lol. Hes good at misinformation,oh and rabbiting.
Selby's footwork isn't that bad. His feet do move out of position quite easily, and he can be made to be off balance due to this - that's why someone who will make him come forward, while moving effectively and countering him will have his number. He can be a little flat footed too, he tends to get stuck in the mud rather than using his feet to create distance. If you look at the Simpson clip below you can see his footwork is coming along, but it still needs work. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxbqCz_qFc4[/ame]
thats wat his said yes why is that so hard to understand im not a smith fan but he feels he made mistakes and got caught i think he over looked selby as a vol defense. selby never earned the shot at smith but took his chance fair play to the lad. so why not repay him and give him shot like smith did.
Fair play, atrocious may be too strong a word. However you do reitarate my observations. Bad foot placement=off balance. Add flat feet into the mix with no movement or fluidity in the transverse plane. Where dos he get his ****ing power.LOL
