His performance showed he's the better man, IMO - just also, unfortunately, the smaller & older man.

Povetkin is great.... Usyk wouldn't be #1 either if he had 2 Klitschkos in the same weight class as him.

Selby-Montiel was a decent fight. Montiel was just too small and past his best to beat Selby.

Selby didn't look great in there with Montiel but he did win clearly and hopefully(for him) it was just a bit of an off night or Montiel having a last good effort in him.

Alexander-Martinez was a dreadful fight, wasn't very good on paper either, and I turned it off after 4 rounds. I almost always make it to the end of a fight even if its bad but I just couldn't watch anymore of that.

From what I've read it seemed a close fight that could have went to either guy so credit to Martinez for making some noise at this point in his career. He probably ends up in another notable fight soon.

Alexander's career just took a huge hit. Lost 3 of his last 4 and the most recent to a guy who is considered a journeyman(respectable one though).

Maybe not quite as bad but Alexander's loss and career at this stage reminds me a lot of Chad Dawson's. Both guys were once top fighters in their divisions but are done at that level now and just slipping further down the ladder.

I really want to see Marriaga given a second shot at one of the titlists, I think he's got mad potential just Walters was too big for him.
