    So-so. Intriguing style match-up anyway. (Montiel the old, live dog, playing the patient counter-puncher and Selby just banking on speed, athleticism, youth & work rate...and initially aggression, though he is being put on the backfoot more in the last couple of rounds)

    Way better than anything we are bound to see in the "main event", that's for sure. :!:

    Selby is jabbing up top and throwing rights at the body, standing up tall and hopping out of the pocket when he sees Montiel's "tells" that he's about to uncork a counter-punch. Montiel is getting pushed down when he rushes inside, Selby driving his wrists into the nape of his neck and clubbing his back with his right arm. Selby using the jab & grab very effectively, limiting what Montiel can do.
