Eighth was marked by mostly ineffective aggression from Boylan, slapping a bit willy-nilly but applying heavy pressure. Goodjohn countering well and varying his movements cleverly.

Watt has it 77-75 Goodjohn, splitting the last two with Boylan getting the seventh and Goodjohn the eighth.

    Gave Goodjohn both personally.

Have him 6-2 up and Boylan needs a miracle here IMO.

Sinking straight right on the navel and double left hook on the ribs is a good combo for Boylan charging in head-down, keeping Goodjohn immobilized with it, but Goodjohn figured it out quick and caught him with that left uppercut. Nice 2-way adjustments.

**** haha, 2/7 I think it was. I'd accumulated it with a couple of football bets in my defence.

Goodjohn has cruised the ninth on strength of his up-jab, multiplying it off Boylan's forehead repeatedly while circling. Boylan is getting in some nice body digs, however. Boylan closes strong, but still. Goodjohn's round overall.

    Fair enough.

To be fair I would have expected Boylan to win, but 2/7 is way too short at this level. I saw Dave Ryan's odds mid-way through the 8th round on Bet365 and he was 9/2!

Boylan needs a KO to win for me.
