Selby has went backwards since his KO wins over Stephen Smith and John Simpson. Hearn needs to put Selby in a real challenge to get the carry on out of his head because if he goes on matching him up with this type of opponent Selby will continue to look bad and not get any better IMO.

 

Turned off after two rounds. It's painful watching him fight, zero power.

He's decent, far worse have challenged for a world title. His style is effective but he has lapses in concentration and that is all Gonzales needs to knock him out.

 

For someone who is "****", "boring" with "zero power", he certainly manages to win pretty comfortably and has scored a few good KOs against top domestic opposition.

To me he seems to do the minimum possible to get the win. Last night he was in trouble once after getting caught by a silly shot but apart from that was in total control.

I can't predict how he'll do against genuine or even fringe world class but it'll be interesting finding out.
