yeah i was at that fight he was defo wobbled but ancliffe stepped back and let him recover. regards to your point no one out their for selby well their is samir who beat him and is unbeaten also won a eliminator or english champ josh warrington ( but his out 22nd march defending his title) is unbeaten in 13. if the offer is good enough cud turn his head
I doubt Murray would ever have been able to live up to the expectations certain people gave him, but inactivity has really hurt him. I don't think it's a bad fight for a short notice undercard bout though. The level of opposition at British level is poor, so Selby will have an easy job with whoever he fights.
Murray against Mouneimne wouldn't be an easy fight to pick, so I'm not sure why Murray is a **** opponent and Mouneimne is any better. If that fight happened, I think the majority of people would pick Murray to win. Neither is a challenge for Selby, but it's ridiculous to write one off and consider the other a valid opponent.
I honestly think your are trolling which is why I reacted. You have spent the last few days slagging of Matchroom's matchmaking, specifically regarding two fights where there is no opponent at this stage. I think if the there is no opponent, say who would be good and who would be ****. Once the opponent has been named, you can be negative.
I would rather Selby vacated the British title. But if he is going to fight anyone, Mouneminne is the best choice and Murray would be 2nd. At least Murray would come to win.
I would have thought the man who beat him before, and who's just won an eliminator himself, would clearly be the logical fight to make. If Hearn wants Murray-Selby, he obviously doesn't fancy Murray as a signing.
The stone is cast. To all the boys here that are on twitter hound this man, even if only to plant the seed for Selby's fight after this :yep
