I was browsing through the IBF rankings and noticed that Sherington made a jump from 13th to 6th position this month. Is the IBF trying to set up an all Australian title eliminator for the no.1 spot between Bika and Sherington? There's no other explanation for this sudden jump since Les hasn't fought since november. Thoughts?
Wheatley is obviously giving Sherro a push Brinkley recently beat Curtis Stevens for the #2 spot. Bika is ranked #4. Maybe Bika v Brinkley for the vacant #1 spot looms. If that happens, I'd say Sherro will petition for a #2 elimination bout. Sherro can't jump guys rated ahead of him if they are available to contest eliminators.
