Lou DiBella tweeted it as they both called each other out given the GGG/Sturm fights not happening.

I see this as a back and forth fight where both fighters have their moments culminating in a late tko for Lee.

Even fight until Lee folds, physically or mentally. I expect the ever so slightest edge for Macklin...

I favor Lee to stop him around the 9th.

if the it ges confirmed the odds on the draw could be tempting. Neither fighter is the home town fighter, both have same promoter, the garden would be neutral for both in terms of the fans they bring. Could be worth a punt!

Great action fight, May the best man win.
Gun to head: I'd pick Lee

I am very surprised at the amount of backing Lee is getting so far on this thread.
I would love to hear those backing Lee explain HOW they see him winning. Macklins cv is far more impressive. In fact what Macklin achieved in some of his LOSSES (eg Sturm and Sergio) exceeds Andy's best WINS!
Perhaps it is wishful thinking by Andy's fans?
Perhaps it it a case of people thinking the fighter they THOUGHT Andy would turn out to be when he turned pro years ago would or at least could or might beat Macklin?

Maybe people have a hard time coming to terms with the harsh reality that Andy has been a disappointment and has not turned out to be as good a pro as we hoped he would 10 years ago.

Surely any honest, Objective appraisal of the fighter Andy actually IS today has to place him below Macklin?
This is not to deny Andy's courage and toughness and great personality etc.

Either Lee KO early, or Macklin KO/decision late.

Lenecore its because some people think that Adam Booth has given Lee a new lease of life and has worked his inside game more and made him more aggressive!
I think Macklin has been in with a more high calibre of opponent to date but it all hinges on whether Lee has reached his full potential or not. If Adam booth has brought an inside game and has made him more aggressive I can see why people may suspect he has improved.

Well ok Paddy, but that's a lot of " ifs".
Also didn't he struggle to get past Anto Fitz under Adams tutelage?
The same Anto Fitz that HNN waltzed past with ease?

Andy was a pro for many years before Adam got him, with top US trainers, sparring etc....I doubt he has much untapped potential for Adam to tap into at this stage.

I think Lee edges this. Unless Macklin can put on insane pressure, and i don't think he is that sort of fighter, he will lose.

Didn't see much of that pressure against Martinez or GGG.
