Lee versus Vera espn2 friday

vera has only one loss. to former contender finalist jaidon codrington in which he was knocked out in the second i hav enever seen lee fight so im not sure. vera himself isnt too bad but there is a lot of hype surrounding lee. lee should be able to win this

 

Great step up for Lee, he'll take it convincingly. I know Emanuel is just trying to hype him but he is indeed world class, he's not ready for any of the champs yet but I see him being a top contender by the end of the year.

 

I think Lee blasts him out of there within 5-6 rounds.

I couldn't believe the +125 odds on the under 5.5 rounds when they came up. Brian Vera has a glass chin and he doesn't know any way of fighting other than brawling. Andy Lee will knock him out early, I would be very surprised if this lasted more than 3 rounds. Lee's team wants to make him look good in his ESPN debut against a known fighter and Vera is a perfect choice.

 

Lee Ive seen him on youtube once, cant say anything but the buzz around here is begining. Seems funny how Kelly Pavlik gets luke warm attention, yet he has actually beaten real comp.....I wonder what the criteria is for favorite son status around here. I just wonder.

 

Pavlik, has proved himself. No one is denying Pavlik is a worthy champion.But a division stagnates if there is no worthy challengers, the buzz your getting is the expectation that soon, there will be an able challenger for great champion.

 

Maybe we need Irish challengers at every weight, and the way Irish professional is improving, it won't be long.:good
