I dont have to apologise for anything, I said I saw one of you say it could sell-out the O2 or Thomond and I stand by it.

You dont have to take responsibility for it, nor did anyone say you had to, I said one of you two said it, if it was him, what are you getting so worked up over?

He doesnt have to provide evidence for me because I said I saw something similar to what he said. It's again not arse-licking to say something someone said was correct.

The posts rob put up were from eight months ago by the way, before I was here.

So, Rob what is the difference between a Cockney and Mockney? I always suspected it was the same slang for a Londoner??

just to point out to Slap and others. A Mockney is someone that pretends to be a cockney (think jamie oliver) but is not even from that part of London. kind of like slap with pretending to be irish.

I am actually born in the part of london and to the sound of bow bells which makes me a "true cockney" but in no way do i think of myself as a cockney or ever refer to myself as one.

by the way slap arent you from Manchester?

Oh, oh, I am getting them mixed up so I just thought I would throw Slaps name into the mixed because he doesnt like Barker.

Good one, I guess that is about as close to an apology as I am likely to get.

Yeah makes more sense in the North to me than In Limerick or Dublin. Duddy will always be a big draw for the Derry ones. It doesn't take much to get the Belfast fight fans out maybe throw Rogie on the card and you can count half the place filled already with the amount of people he knows.

Shame it's happening in some casino in America not seen a top Irish vs Irish fighter in a long time. At least its happening now though. :happy

You are correct on one out of three issues there Robert! Not bad for you actually!

You say you are a "true cockney" - why dont you tell us where in London are from then eh??

    Am I from Manchester? No!

'Cockney' is referred to the working class people of East London. When someone is born within the hearing distance of the Bow Bells then he or she is called as a 'true cockney'. The Bow bells are the bells of St Mary-le-Bow church (Cheap side) in the city of London.

The area in which the bells can be heard include Finsbury, Hoxton, Stepney, Shadwell,
Clerkenwell, Shoreditch,Bethnal Green, Whitechapel, Shadwell, Bermondsey and Rotherhithe.
A person born in this area is termed as 'True Cockney'.

Not everyone from London is a cockney in the way everyone from liverpool is a scouser or newcastle is a geordie.
