I think thats a bet no one would take Barrys has came off with some random **** when it comes to Lee.
My guess is it was Barry Hairy Nuts as he is Andy Lee's number one fan. Now, I will duck for cover and leave you too to sort out your differences:yep PS. jpab - I was at the Dunne-Poonsawat fight in the cheap seats and it looked nearly full - though not a sell-out. No chance Lee-Duddy sells out the 02. If that fight was in Ireland it would have to be up North.
Everytime a thread on an Irish fighter goes beyond 5 pages Rob and Slap it's e-kicking off between Rob and Slap
How big do you think it would be up here now Gas? Not heard a word about Duddy in years from any casuals seems to have dropped off the radar. I know most in Derry would of heard of him but he has lost the appeal in Belfast. Wouldn't take much to get him known again maybe a few interviews or that doc they had made on him. Both don't seem like the fighters to get the hype going for a fight either.
Yeah mate, and the attendance noticably dipped from the Maestrito fight. It was a good crowd but definitely not sold out(and there were a few Thai's there to help the numbers). Which would hardly give you confidence for for Lee-Duddy.
I went along to the Duddy-Eastman fight with a few mates and the place was bunged with Derry wans and West Belfast. Plus there were a fair amount of Lurgan one down cheering on Haughian - who got robbed that night. All in all it looked like a full house or not far off - for a non-tltle fight against Eastman. Duddy got good exposure leading up tot that - Stephen Watson from BBC NI went out to New York and did a really good documentary on Duddy - which I think did a good job in exposing him to the casuals. Duddy v Lee (ideally for a title) would be a good sell in the North. The proper fight fans would come out to see that plus the following from Duddy in Derry and Lee's fans from Limerick etc. With a good under card and promotion and I would put this in the Odyssey.
i was in the 130 seats and me bro was in the 55 euro seats the nose bleeders and me or him didnt see one emoty seat it did empty out fairly quickly that night alright
I saw a few of the Thai's floating about the place - with their costume and traditional dress etc. The Irish birds were glammed up too - every second bird was wearing gold high-heels! But, I was pleased I managed to smuggle in a few double whiskeys just before the main event:good
Hold my hands up it wasn't Slap or Big Hairy Balls but severall Irish posters made ludicrous claims about Andy Lee the ticket seller..... Match Point Palmer.
There was plenty of empty seats. It was a good crowd but in no way was it sold out. The Maestrito fight was a sell-out, not the Poon one. And gas seems like he'll vouch for that. And dont forget there was a good few Thai's there as well.
I'll take that as a "I am too much of a snivelling wee ***** to apologies and admit I was wrong so I will swerve it" shall I? "I know for a fact one of you said it? Is this place for real" - the wee mockney gobshite said I said it. Why he the **** would I take responsibility for what BBB says? "I dont consider saying something was true arse-licking, and it was more your dick-headed reaction that fueled my response" - actually it was the second time the little ****** had a dig at me in just this thread. Instead of licking his arse why dont you ask him to provide evidence for his bull****?
Same here mate. I was the first one to go up to Matt Macklin when he was standing at the steps where we were sitting and I think I seriously freaked him out.
Mockney??? Do you even know what that is? really your making a twat of yourself. your not even making sense.
Of course you can if you said ones of us said it but you didnt you wee pissant you said "Slap and Big Hairy Balls told me"
