I have noticed, everyone seems to think Lee will beat him easy.

Sky Bet are offering 9/2 for a Vera win, fantastic odds.

Lee was losing his last fight and got a ko, while Vera is on a good run.

I think this is the bet of the night.

Lee was actually ahead when he got the KO!

Should be a good fight though.

    Lee is overrated imo.

Vera knows he can get to him and I expect him to get to him late again.

given the constant slating he gets on here I would love to know (outside his immediate team) who overrates him and what have they said?

Does nobody else remember the repeated shellackings Vera got after fighting Lee first time?
The fact that he beat Mora just tells you all you need to about how Mora fought on that night.

He's not going to win a single round

Andy's problem is that he can only work at distance. Needs room to throw that big left. This should be an issue that is treatable but for some reason Andy hasn't eradicated it (at least pre-McEwan). Andy also seems to "freeze" when he takes a clean shot which is why he was stopped in the first fight. If Vera stays in his face he could win this one.

Yep. Lee has no inside game apart from holding. Typical Manny Stewart fighter.

One thing I do know for sure is Martinez would destroy him. He could easily fight and inside fight and take him apart very quickly.

I think its a generilised comment made on the amount of talk / publicity Lee gets , when his abilities may not warrant it , added to that he's trained by a first class trainer and some of Stewards past and present students quite frankly make Lee look pretty bad

I happen to agree actually , i dont think he's anything to write home over

Not critisising the guy here , i just dont rate him that much

Andy was behind going into the last round (only marginally though).

Skillswise Lee has improved little over the last 3 years, but I will say this, Andy is far more battle hardened than he was when he first fought vera as a yound prosepect. Since that time hes faced bad cuts, tough akward opponents and has shown the ability to come back from adversity. I would say hes far more seasoned now than he was back then.

If I wasn't such a huge Lee fan I'd have put a few quid on it. Very tasty odds imo. Betting against Lee would ruin it the fight for me.

Well thats technically a Majority Draw going into the last. But I take your point.

I just remember someone arguing with me that Lee needed the KO in the last round to win and I was saying he didnt.

    Cheers Ferg!

Nah, not buying that to be honest mate.

He has been busy and clocked up loads of fights whilst the likes of Barker have been sitting on their arse. But look at the arselicking, publicity and hype that Barker gets compared to Lee.

I think its just fashionable (and Lee) to knock Lee.

It was the same with Duddy - everyone on here would say "he's an overrated hypejob" - when asked who overrates him and what have they said to hype him then there was rarely a response. Duddy was over popular, not overrated. Lee deserves to be rated, he has proven that he can box and has plenty of power in each hand.

I didnt say i dont rate him because its fashionable to say so  , i said it because i dont rate the guy , i think he's a little one dimesnional , you have a fair point though , over popular , over rated 2 different things

Of the MW division at the moment , i think over rated could be applied to most of the top 10 in the world , the only real stand outs for me right now are Martinez and Geale , the rest i havent got a lot of time for
