Not slagging mate, just knew Thaim sounded familiar then a fight with Trinidad came to mind.

I agree that Lee wins, but I think it would be tight. Barker is a solid technician. Lee's reach and power would be decisive in my opinion...

Ya Garcia was shaky in the first round, but he settled well. He looked very classy, very talented fighter. Got to see Perez as well, he's brilliant, he's got unbelievable power. I hope those lads stay in Ireland for a while yet.

I only found out at the fight, but I think they were streaming the whole card on the RTE website. They might still be up there on the RTE player thing.

that one moment of the counter right hook was beautiful but his whole career has always looked to me as though he will struggle at world and euro level, even tonight i was thinking the same

I think Lee could probably take Barker. They need to do something with him soon, he's got a bit of momentum now. If they dont step him up he'll stagnate and if he's not ready at this stage he'll never be ready. Need to give him his sink or swim moment.

I think Lee stops him tbh, Lee will be the hardest puncher Barker will have faced so far and I don't think he will cope with his power.

yeah, I only found out about the live streaming about an hour ago :patsch:patsch

I'll have a look at the RTE player anyway to see if they are there.

What i liked about Perez was his speed. For a heavyweight he was very quick and powerful...

What you think of the multi-flag shorts??

They were cool, it would be nice if those boys still have the tri-colour on their shorts when they're fighting for world titles, I hope they dont forget about us :yep

that would be great, tbh though once they started fighting on bigger shows in the us in places like vegas they will soon forget about cork, maybe not the people but defo the place

Up in the cheap seats, at the far side. wasn't too bad, its small enough in there so your never that far away anyway.

You won the ring side seats didn't ya? Were they good, were you very close? (I'm super jealous )
