Always see people with that attitude on here it ****es me right off. Just the lack of respect in general towards very talented boxers annoys me.

 

Probably because a lot of people dislike Hearn and Campbell is a Matchroom fighter. Plus the fact that he has a reputation/standing beyond than his talent level. IMO he is no more than British Level. Suspect chin, little real power, ok boxer. Nothing more.

Since the knockdown it's almost like someone has said to Mendez, don't throw back! Hardly throwing a meaningful shot now.

 

Wish Sky would be more ****ytical on the footwork. This is where Barry Jones is the best in the business, Mendez's footwork s fantastic.

Yep. For now. Possibly edging on Euro level. He'd get bashed up at world level for sure. He might get gifted a Euro title, but he'll come unstuck massively any higher unless Eddie finds him an extremely weak champion and get a hometown decision.

True, but the amateur game and the professional game are completely different (I shouldn't even need to say that) and most will judge his professional career on what he does during his professional career, not what he did in his past (amateur) career, however good it was.

 

Few boxnation fighters getting a mention from Clarke. Don't expect to hear him on the Brook show...
