  1. This fight is a complete fix.

Mendez stopped throwing power shots after 2nd round.

You don't need to say that but who is going to get more hype when they turn over Luke Campbell Gold Medalist or Barry the White Collar bum?

Of course they'll get hyped, but it's just to sell tickets and entice the casuals, which is something I hate (from a boxing perspective), yet love from a business perspective. But when it comes to boxing the former will always win for me.

I personally still have a bitter taste in my mouth from the amount of kudos and prasie AJ gets, compared to the likes of Fury who is THE man at heavyweight. But again, it all goes back to tickets, business and money.

Mendez has got the footwork and is good at making him miss but has nothing coming forward

Campbell doesn't have a big armoury does he? Soft right jab and a left cross.

I like to see all British boxers do well but Campbell really bores me.

So Hearn only hypes Gold Medalists to entice casuals? That makes no sense, the medal is hype on itself.

I don't like Hearn but your missing the point, it's a promoters job to hype his fighters.

And just to get this right, you would rather watch a white collar boxer who's turned pro then someone who was a world class amateur?

Campbell not going anywhere fast. Get him in there with Cardle and Masher.

I'm not one to believe in fixes often, however having seen and been caught out trading on two fixed tennis matches before, this fight has been seriously suspicious ever since Campbell got dropped, Mendez isn't even struggling with breathing.

Yes, he does, because that's where the majority of the money is. Casuals way, way, way out number true boxing fans who know their ****.

That's not really the point here, because Campbell's world class amateur days are long, long behind him. Currently he is a British level pro, nothing more. His amateur days mean nothing to me. Same with Audley. He got found out pretty sharpish; not saying Campbell has, but he isn't living up to the hype at all.

Yeah he has been hyped, but as Tibbs said he turned over into Pro game off the back of his big amateur success and with him being with Matchroom and the ties with Sky he's going to get pushed.

He's not took the **** padding his record out, he is looking to move himself on quickly - this fight being an example.

And also after his first career loss he immediately made changes... bringing in Rubio and heading over to the states, taking himself away from a young family and his dad who's illness has been well documented so he's taking the game serious and making sacrifices with the hope of success.
