A product of the famous Kronk gym, who stood 6'3", which is tall for a 175'er. He seemed like a good prospect, but aside from one title fight, which he lost on points to Dariusz Michalczewski, he didn't feature at the sharp end of the division.

He seemed to have some good skills and great natural tools, but he faded away. What happened? Did he run foul of the law? How good was he really?

Wow, a name from the distant past. I thought Dariuz burst his bubble. Best wins were Nicky Piper and a still fresh Anthony Hembrick, if memory serves.

I saw him fight Tom " the Bomb " Collins many years ago, but can't remember much about it. I was just a kid in those days.

Leeonzer had some personal issues, if I'm not mistaken, and was impossible to work with -- I think he went through several management and trainer changes. Seems like he was one of those guys who was always just about to sign for a big fight and then he would decide he was worth twice as much money and it never happened.

I know at the tail end of his career he was calling around looking for fights himself, trying to put a few wins together to get that big payday that never quite happened.
