    Anyone have a definitive list?

I believe Henry Cooper and Gerry Cooney were both left handed orthodox fighters.

Sonny Liston was rumoured to be left handed? Any definitive proof of this?

Razor Ruddock might have been left handed but i am not sure. Anyone look into it?

    Cheers.

Carmen Basilio was a natural southpaw who fought right-handed
Kenny Lane was a right-hander who fought as a southpaw.

Oscar De lá Hoya was a converted southpaw I think I read somewhere.

De La hoya. That's why his jab was like a straight right, it was his power hand. Victor Ortiz was a converted southpaw as well being that his right hand was his power hand as well.

I think Liston's mother said he was left handed. You could also tell by the fact that his left hand was much more muscular.

There are pictures of Liston signing his name with his right hand. If he actually was left-handed, he was very committed to the lie.

Thanks. So he was probably right handed. Then again kids back then were taught to write right handed because of the stigma of left handedness. However, Sonny didn't seem to have a formal education so i am not sure.

Wilfred Benitez was left handed and fought from an orthodox stance I believe the opposite is true of Marvin Hagler?

True, it's not impossible. He does seem to have relied mostly on his left early in his career, and developed his right over time, which would be typical of a left-hander trying to fight orthodox.

Listons mother was quite frankly an idiot who couldn’t remember basic facts about him for the life of her…
His wife also said in an interview she never saw him use his left as his primary.
