Start by standing in close to the bag in your regular position. The main problem for most begginers is the footwork. When you setup to throw, your feet should be shoulder length apart. Your elbows should be held close to your side. Make sure not to square up to the bag. left foot should be placed toward the bag. right foot should pivot as you twist your hips. keep your right hand by your chin at all times. as you twist your hip pivot on your toes to get maximum power remmeber to keep arm hooked as you throw. These are just the basics you need to know. once you get good enough you can play with your hips and pivoting foot to make maximum power. Good luck.:thumbsup In order to do this you must have proper stance.
