so was doing some rangefinder jabs and a little bit flurrying in the mirror. and realised an undiscovered punch in my arsenal. the left uppercut, can you tell me and show me videos of fighters with good left uppercut setting up the right hand. :bbb especially short ones inside.
Foreman. And he could even throw it off his lead foot while stepping in. Currently, Povetkin throws a real nice one. It's a sneaky punch and is very effective.
marquez was the first name i thought of, napoles the second, hopkins the third (tried to find some good examples from the joppy fight but couldn't). how the **** i forgot lopez i don't know... now it's time for some roy jones junior http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUvrSbAKq9M&list=PLDBC9A8C5B5F1B673 skip to 2:50 to see him rip off some beauties
I think Marquez dismantling Diaz was the best overall display of a fighter using the punch to good effect. Others have used it, but I think JMM could have lost that fight without making the adjustment. Against a top class, young opponent who put on the best performance of his whole career that night.... you've got to give it to Marquez.
