Yet, he seems to have the best training camps of his life before these things happen on fight night. :think He most certainly was looking like a well oiled machine leading up to the fight.

No doubt...fighters can get injuries at any time. But, oddly, it seems Manny only cites these issues after fights he performed below expectations in. They sound like excuses to me. But, hey...I'm not him. It could be legit. In many cases, if a fighter is having chronic issues of some sort, those details leak out of camp beforehand.

Roach and Co. should really stop predicting the KO. That's creating expectations that breed excuses, when things don't go as expected.

yup, that's y it's weird to hear them say that

the facts show excuse which is fine, but if it was an actual problem, i wonder if there was something from his trainning he should add/take out

yea i feel u, when the expectation aren't fulfilled it starts things

It was a good fight. Marquez always gives Pacquiao hell, sort of like Norton did to Ali. Marquez used economic lateral movement and has a good sense of Pacquiao's rhythm and timing.

Some people have said that Pacquiao has noticeably slowed down, but I'm not so sure. He may be on the decline (I think you can say likewise for JMM), but I get the sense that Pacquiao would still look awesome against guys like Hatton and Cotto, and would've struggled with Marquez in 2009.

I thought a lot of rounds were very close and tough to score. I thought JMM landed the more eye-opening blows. I had it 114-114, but I was drunk and probably need to watch it again to have a better score.

If it was really a problem, I'm not sure what he could do, aside from cut back on training, which might preserve his legs a bit. Not my area of expertise, obviously. But, this guy trains for hours on end, and (I hear) parties like crazy. He's a congressman, a father, a husband, a fighter, etc. When does this guy find time to rest? The body definitely needs good rest to heal properly. If true, perhaps, his lifestyle is catching up to him.

No leg cramps even roach admitted it was marquez style that cause them problem not manny excuse for leg cramps. Anytime pac doesn't perform well there is an excuse.
