I believe Floyd will fight Mosley and amir khan. Imo Floyd is already a top 20 atg with nothing else to prove but i want to see him fight Mosley. I think mosley will bring the best out of Floyd. I think Floyd crushes pac similar to how he broke down hatton with those jabs and straight right hands to the body.

:lol::lol: - Pac destroyed Hatton at 140lbs. Sure, Floyd beat DLH at 154 but Pac did so as well at WW. No one knew DLH was going to be so drained (except Roach)...Anyways Pac then goes up against the #1 or #2 WW in the world and destroys him too. What has Floyd done to suggest his resume is better than Pac's ???

Also, I love how you can see into the future claiming Floyd will beat Pac, reminds me of Pac's last three fights where a lot of people were saying he was going to lose yet he goes on to brutally destroy them. Don't get me wrong, I also believe Floyd will beat Pac but I'm not gonna make a fool out of myself by already shouting out the outcome of the fight.

It doesnt end there. You have to consider their over all resume. With this, simple logic raises Pac above Floyd. And we havent even included other factors that are being considered in the rankings (personality, community services, etc..not just inside the ring)

How many of them stayed in 1-2 divisions. Amount of competition does not equal quality of competition. And you have to factor in the era when those fighter fought.

Old school boxers gets overrated, because there's no way of comparing them with todays fighters. Watching videos alone will not do it. And showing them winning a hard fought battle is just as good as the Ward/Gatti 0r Vasquez/Marquez of our days.

Your responses are so atrocious you don't live in reality. when Floyd faced oscar it was at oscar natural weight, floyd couldnt even make 154 and beat hoya fresh off of a knockout over Mayorga, the same mayorga shane mosley barely beat, when Floyd fought Hatton he beat hatton when ricky was undefeated, and besides anyone with a brain knows ricky is bigger than Floyd, Floyd started at 130 ricky started at 140 and ricky weighs 180 in between fights, and on fight night ricky was 155 light middle weight wile floyd was 148 these are facts. then Floyd demoralized ricky, and in rickys next fight he was almost knocked out by washed up juan lasscano, their is a reason why ricky fought Paulie nexted is because he and his promoters knew his punch resistance was gone and they put him in with somebody who couldn't break eggs, and Pac was a betting favorite over all those fighter except for barrera and oscar. ppl gave cotto and ricky no chance

Floyd won a SD over Oscar . Mosley? You mean the same Mosley you claim will bring out the best in Floyd? All this talk from you saying Mayweather is smaller but you wanna go that route? Ok, Manny started at 106 - moved aaaaaaaaall the way up and just destroyed one of the top WW's if not THE top WW. Guess what, two of those fighters you say Floyd beat before Pac are also larger than Pac and Pac brutally beat both of them. Again, Mayweather is slightly larger than Pac so a Pac victory will be that much sweeter.

Based on what???? In assessing fighters, you also have to assess the quality of his opponents.

But on the other side, how do you assess that opponents? By simply assessing the opponents of the opponents.

At 130, who are the notable opponents of Mayweather?????

Genaro Hernandez, Diego Corrales,Jesus Chavez, Carlos Hernandez. Castillo, etc.

The question that I always ask myself is how good really are these fighters.

How can you prove that these fighters are great when the only notable name in their resume is Mayweather.

Did mayweather ruled the strongest ever 130 division?????

There is no question regarding Mayweather's skill because that is given, but even at 130, I still have doubts with his resume. The problem with Mayweather is he did not have a career deining opponenet. Genaro Hernandez, Carlos Hernandez, Castillo, Corrales, angel manfredy are good opponents but they are never career defining wins. It can never be compared to fighting SRL, Hagler, Hearns, even Mab, EM or JMM. It can not even be compared to Cotto, because Cotto had proven himself by fighting career defining opponents like Shane Mosley.

Was it Mayweather's fault that fighters of SRL caliber or Hagler like did not exist in his generation???? Definitely not. However, you can not judge a fighter by his potential as well. Mayweather pound for pound might win against Hagler, but would he be ranked higher than Hagler???? If there is a fantasy ATG where fighters are ranked based on how well they look or how the fans perceive their fighter based on skills rather than resume, then Mayweather might be ranked very high.

Try to be objective in assessing the opponents of Mayweather at 130. Although the list is not exactly long,, 27 fights at 130 with 9 notable fights (notable simply because these are against fighters with considerable win - loss record) while hlding the 130 title for 3 years (1998 - 2001).
