Of done to increase theirs? Why and how? Sugar Ray Leonard Marvin Hagler Joe Louis Riddick Bowe Roberto Duran Lennox Lewis
Bowe-Lennox would have done a lot for at least one of them. Depending on how the loser did, maybe both of them. Bowe - fought Tyson? Duran - not sure. For a guy who fought 119 times, not sure who he avoided. Lewis - kind of a stretch, but maybe trilogies with McCall, Rahman, and Holyfield just have the win and then one. Leonard - rematched Hearns earlier. Maybe have fought him 3 times to answer the questions. Hagler - not sure. Louis - in my opinion, did what he could with the crop of competition available to him. I'm sure there are fighters he should have faced but I can't think of them at the moment.
Long periods of inactivity don't do much for a fighter, especially when he came back multiple times showing he had a lot left in the tank.
hagler- fight light heavyweights, ray, tommy, mugabi and duran moved up in weight to fight you, why didnt you do the same? spinks- fight qawi leftovers to improve his light heavyweight resume, fight abc title holders at heavyweight.
Leonard was scheduled to fight Cuevas, but let Hearns do it because Hearns COULD do it. (Then Cuevas flamed out and fell to the wayside) Pryor also need a shot.
