5-Things get messy to start the round, Oho wants it close and Ushijima doesn't, pressure from Oho backs up Ushijima, who relies on on his over-hand right and left hook, Oho is the one making the fight but struggling to connect...until I type that and he lands a solid body and head shot, then another body shot, more body work late from Oho

Ushijima actually jabbed nicely at the start of the round!

6-Ushijima continues to try and spoil, nice single shots by Ushijima when he lts his hands go, Oho stills pressing and unloads solid shots in 2' and 3's but not enough of them...

I think Ushijima takes it VERY close, the knockdown being the difference

58-56, twice and 59-54 to Ushijima

1-Yamaguchi, the man, the myth, the god, coming forward and throwing hayemakers, Koibuchi looks much bigger but is under pressure and not liking this at all,

2-NOOOOO! Yamaguchi dropped! Seemed like he got hit twice on his way down....right he's up! Come on Yamaguchi! Koibuchi has seen enough and takes our man down again :(
And the referee says enough is enough...**** you Koibuchi!

Identification - Tanuguchi is in white and gold and is the southpaw

1-Tatsukami using his jab well, Taniguchi struggling with distance a bit, slow technical stuff here, Taniguchi has taken center ring pretty much the entire round but didn't have much success until quite late in in, Tatsukami having success more frequently

2-Similar in a way to round 1, but Taniguchi is putting his foot on the gas a bit more, the kid is very technical but lacks the experience and strength to really make the most of his skills still, good shot up top from Tatsukami, Taniguchi is landing with more spite late in the round and seemed to shake up Tatsukami near the end of the round. Close round.

3-Taniguchi seems to be stepping on the gas a little more round by round, nice pressure from him but his accuracy is still wayward, Taniguchi is letting some solid looking lefts fly, but they aren't landing often enough, when he lands however Tatsukami doesn't like it at all, Tatsukami hurt again late in the round.

4-Taniguchi has settled well and Tatsukami is more focused on defense than bringing any actual action, a nice left shook Tatsukami again. Not really much intensity from either guy though. Very much a live learning experience for Taniguchi.

Okay, Taniguchi is wearing odd shoes. One's white and ones black. Very strange...sums up my feeling on the action though

5-Not much happened until late, when they traded shots up close. Can tell neither has the power to take the other out with one shot, and we're seeing much foot on gas pedal, combinations from either. A stinker TBH

6-More of the same, Taniguchi is too good, but lacks the power to close the show. Takes a clear decision for me

Chief support coming up Jin Sasaki (7-0, 6) Vs Shun Akaiwa (5-1-1, 3)

1-Sasaki not messing around. Drops Akaiwa in the early going, and the referee stops Akaiwa after he gets to his feet. Damn that was impressive!

Masayuki Ito Vs Hironori Mishiro announced for November 5th!

    Final bout
    Shoki Sakai (23-11-2, 12) Vs Hironori Shigeta (6-1-1, 3)

This is THAT Shoki Sakai who has fought in Mexico and the US Vs:
    Nery Saguilan
    Ashley Theophane
    Cameron Krael
    Gernaro Gamez
    Eddie Gomez
    Alexis Rocha
    Gor Yeritsyan

Making his Japanese debut in his 37th bout (can't think of any other Japanese fighters to take so long to fight at home)

Shigeta won Rookie of the Year in 2017 but has failed to really move on from his win over Rikuto Adachi in the final

1-Shigeta fighting behind a busy jab early on, and doesn't give a **** about Sakai's JP debut, nice speed and activity from Shigeta but Sakai taking much of the shots on the gloves, a bit crab like defensively from Sakai, Sakai opens up and has success, but Shigeta turns it on late. Shigeta round for me.
