Roberto's usual nonsense. Talk talk talk, and then he fights Manny and loses easily and says he didn't train.

I am not sure he stops Duran, but speed was Duran's achilles. If Manny used speed and yet gave Duran angles he could win a decision. but Manny would not win if he stood in front of Duran even with his speed since Duran was good inside and lining guys up who stood in front of him. He even hit Hearns a little when Tommy was in front of him with Duran's back against the ropes. You do not stand in front of Duran.

Stylistically, prime Duran beats prime Pacquiao 10 times out of 10, and that's coming from a known Pacquiao fan. Duran is the best inside fighter I've ever seen, brilliant at cutting off the ring, and tough as nails. He'd swarm Manny and break him down on the inside - much like he'd do to the VAST, VAST majority of the best fighters who have ever fought in his best weight classes of 135 & 147. Of course Manny's speed, power, footwork and sheer desire would make it harder than Duran himself is making out, but he'd still dominate the majority of the fight vs Pac, so he is right, even if exaggerating a bit.

He fought Hagler and stood his ground for 15 rounds, you stupid ****.

By the way Hagler was one of the greatest middleweights ever (you don't know **** about boxing)

Thats not the point at all, that Duran low blowed someone once. Duran was dirty and rough as they come. Pac fell apart when Agapito Sanchez fought dirty. Who the **** is Agapito Sanchez compared to Roberto Duran?

Roberto Duran wasn't some one dimensional punching bag who could only come forward and wing power punches like Margarito. He didn't curl up in a ball once 7 rounds was over like Cotto does. He didn;t stand there like a ****ing goon doing nothing for 12 rounds like Clottey. And most importantly,in his prime he wasn't 40 ****ing years old like Shane Mosley.

Duran happened to be a great all around fighter who was tough as hell and knew how to bend the rules without getting caught.

I would pick Duran at any point pre Iran Barkley to beat Pac. Easily.

BTW, anyone pointing to that Hearns KO, rofl if you think Pac would still be standing after that shot. Thats as solid a punch as I've ever seen.

Why hasn't anyone posted footage of Torrecampo making Pac drool all over himself?
