Holy was strong enough to go toe to to toe, he was a better inside fighter and muscular.

Holy was stronger than Ali who threw arm punches Douglas was able to get everything into his shots because of Tyson`s size, look at that uppercut, Ali never threw a shot as hard as that, Douglas punch technique was better than Ali`s. Douglas turned his hips into those shots.

Ali would win through pre fight psychological warfare. Tyson would be defeated even before entering the ring. He relied a lot on intimidation and if Sonny Liston couldn't intimidate a young Ali, no one could. Ali would come up with a nasty nickname for Tyson and would verbally bully him in the weeks leading up to the fight.

Ali in a Buster Douglas style KO within 10 rounds.

Have you looked at the fight? Ali rocked Foreman several times long before he kocked him out. Foreman felt those punches.

As did Liston. And he took Williams best and kept coming.

When Ali landed clean even Liston, Lyle and Foreman took notice. So Tyson probably would too.

I've watched that fight several hundred times so I'm good, thanks. Ali's threw every kind of punch (to the head) and plenty of them, but the main ones were jabs and right crosses. What did he hurt Frazier with in the second round? And the right answer is "a right cross".

Ali was an average puncher. He was not feather fisted nor did he have a poleaxe but he could harm you. Look at Foreman's, Norton's and Frazier's faces after they fought him. He really never made any of those gentlemen back up in their fights but the damage he inflicted on them accumulated. Like Larry Holmes said before you knock someone out you have to get them drunk first.

I'm not sure Holyfield despite his bodybuilder physique was "stronger" than Ali. Norton who fought both Foreman and Holmes said Ali was the strongest boxer he ever faced and when pressed for clarification he repeated himself.

He simply KO'd Bonavena cause Bonavena was exhausted.

It will be a 12 rounder and the most probable outcome is Tyson by UD. Tyson by KO is also possible, but less likely since Ali will run.

Prime Tyson is also way faster than Norton and Frazier.

He CHEATED vs Frazier in the second fight and should have been penalized for excessive holding.

Yes they did, especially Douglas. They weren't monster punchers, but they definitely hit harder than Ali.

Only one version of Ali can fight Tyson. You cannot mix the best attributes from both versions.
    So it's either:
    - 60s Ali, with fast hands, great movement and reflexes and not much of a chin
    or
    - 70s Ali, with diminished speed, reflexes and stamina, but with a much better chin and punching power.

Tyson beats any version of Ali. 70s Ali was easy to hit for Mike and 60s Ali didn't have the chin to withstand Tyson's power.

Yeah, Ali was not a huge puncher, but he was accurate and put his punches together very well. Combined with his hand speed it was enough to get the respect of the most feared guys of his time.

Did Foreman cheat when he shoved Frazier every time he tried to get inside?
