But I wonder how you could say something like Tyson could have been a WW.
5' 10.5" likely, you were very close.
Most anyone could theoretically be waaaay lighter if they shed a lot of weight.
Tyson did not have a lot of fat to lose, he would have had to lose a great amount of muscle.
Tyson's LBM (lean body mass, meaning if he had ZERO fat), must have been over 190.

He was naturally very muscular & starving himself to make any lower weight (other than CW if he could rehydrate) would forfeit his power & likely punch resistence. It would be utterly unnatural & absurd.

 

That’s freaking hilarious and not least for Ali, of ALL people, to be asking someone else to do something crazy. Ali already had crazy covered at every level.

Exactly right guys. Nunn - Kalambay is a good example of a shock result from a punch. It may not have happened again in 50 fights. Ali - Cooper is another. It happens and it never happened to Ali again in that fashion against all sorts of monsters and any amount of top 10 contenders even when he was shot.

It's not that Joe was a worse finisher, the thing is Ali was more hurt when Cooper hurt him.
He was dizzy and needed smelling salts to get back to planet Earth.

 

Your example was so obvious it shouldn't need to be pointed out is the thing. Liston hit Ali hard on multiple occasions and it's impossible not to see. He's making his claims simply because Ali did not stagger or go down. It's an Ali didn't go down but he did against Cooper so those guys cannot have hit him clean. I mean come on.
