Recently Ive been watching the "Legendary Nights" programmes that were on HBO. If you havnt seen them I highly recommend them, they are on youtube. Watching Riddick Bowe and Evander Holyfield go at it hitting **** out of each other, going toe to toe really took me back. Ive seen the fights but I think over recent years fat blokes poking jabs out and champions absolutely terrified of getting hit actually made me forget and has tarnished this great division, and I dont think it will ever be the same. Secondly the story of Meldrick Taylor vs JCC. One of the saddest thing ive seen in a while, really disturbing stuff seeing Taylor talking with slurred speach at the end, but what a fighter. Lastly, was Sugar Ray Leonard scared shitless of Aaron Pryor and do people agree that he ducked Pryor?
Great series i love the Hagler-Hearns one. As for Leonard ducking Pryor i cant accuse a guy that fought prime Hearns and also fought Duran and Benitez at 147 of ducking The Hawk.
