What do ya mean?? Im not joking. I do have the tape. If you believe Im something of a joker... good luck with your thoughts.. If I actually had a basic clue of how to place the FILM onto th net, Id be happy with all to view it. Verbal interviews with Burns, Jefferies, Corbett, Burns, Leonard re: the stock market crash, many rounds of Louis sparring, Max and Buddy singing along, 'KID' Mc Coy chatting, Tommy Ryan Chatting.... Tonnes of old stuff.
I've always doubted the Dempsey/Galento story ... Dempsey got slapped around by Kingfish Levinsky. I do not see him flattening Galento at that age ...
Mosley-Hernandez. Whitaker-Forrest Whitaker-Vargas Whitaker-Judah If any of the above fights with Whitaker were to have happened the most likely would have been Forrest. The others fought in divisions either side of welterweight. Whitaker was well past his prime and on the way out just as Judah and Vargas were early in the pro ranks. Whitaker used all three in preperation for his fight with De La Hoya.
De La Hoya-Margarito. De La Hoya also sparred with a few fighters he fought. Coley, Carr, Mosley, Kamau and Rivera.
I've seen it too , it does exist although I do remember it looking like Schmeling was going easy on him ...
Whitaker sparred with Ivan Robinson in preparation for DLH as well I think. Of course, Whitaker and Camacho had some sparring sessions as well in the early 80's.
