Ya and most people are stupid.

Oscar offered Winky a career high payday, and spoke openly about wanting to fight him.

That wouldn't be the first or last fight Winkys dumb ass outpriced himself in.

Just to keep it at a recent one, ill go with Murray and Golovkin, slightly.

I don't have a link right now Id have to go find it but basically hatton says that right now hes looking at other options then a Golovkin fight and that timing is everything.

Seemed like a soft duck to me? (as opposed to a hard duck lol)

    :think

Much as I like and respect the man, Chris Eubank ducked Roy Jones and James Toney. He has willingly admitted that he wanted nothing to do with a fight against either man and had no financial incentive to make the fights so didn't. A quote on that subject from Eubank: "Why would I want to fight someone like Roy Jones Jnr in his prime? It was the same with James Toney, it was career suicide. I had to be smart."

Any fighter who retires in his prime for no other reason than the competition is so hot is a complete ducker.

    I dont agree ,

If you say the above as Eubank did then its just being honest.

A ducker would have called RJJ and Toney out but come up with some fabricated reason not to fight , Chris didnt do this, he just knew it was a level above.

    A complete joke!

Manny ducked Floyd? On what grounds?

Because he didn't comply with all of Floyd's demands? Ha!

We may have seen the fight if Floyd hadn't have issued the demands in the first place.

We know that when Manny finally gave in and agreed to everything, that instead of Floyd trying to make the fight, he tried to take all the PPV money from what would have been the biggest grossing fight of all time.

That shows you just how serious he was.

The Mayweather fans need a reality check.

Floyd kept moving the goal posts.

Suddenly after 13 years as a pro, he was on a mission to clean up the sport? Ha!

If Freddie Roach had accused Floyd of being dirty, and Manny had have issued testing demands, all of the Mayweather's would have gone absolutely crazy!

You've got to be mind bending drugs to hold Manny solely responsible for the fight not taking place.

So why didn't Floyd sign, when Manny agreed to everything in the end? He'd finally gotten what he'd always wanted.

He'd told the whole world that Manny had to take the test.

Manny agreed, and agreed to take 45%.

So Floyd had got his wish and 55%.

What happened? Did Floyd try and make the fight?

    No!

He offered Manny a flat fee, and then wanted the ENTIRE PPV revenue, from a fight that had realistic expectations of grossing between $200-300m.

I don't see how Ward ducked Bute either.

The two clearest ones that spring to mind for me are:
Mayweather repeatedly ducking Pac [even using the excuse that the fight would be too easy]
Fury ducking Price [dumping his belts when Price became the mandatory]

Fury ducking Price is a good call when he turned down something like 600000 to fight Rogan instead

    I agree.

Bute wasn't in the Super Six.

Ward was injured in the final.

Afterwards, he wanted a rest, possibly an easy fight, and he said he'd let the fight with Bute build up.

I believe that if Carl Froch hadn't have destroyed Bute, then we would have seen the fight at some point.

Wasn't Khan fighting the likes of Medjaji, Komjaji and Limmond in 2007?, how is Thaxton a complete unknown compared to those guys?
