Doesnt Casa hold the WBO interim belt? If so if he wants to keep his bauble him and Nate HAVE to fight.

A champion who can't make weight for a title fight loses his belt. If his challenger defeats him in the fight, said challenger is awarded that belt. Since when did this rule become controversial?

Casa doesn't care about his WBO interim belt. He cares about his Golden Boy belt. He will defend it in the upcoming Golden Boy LW tournament

It goes even deeper than the Casa/Corrales fight. There hasn't been a true lineal champ at LW since Whitaker left the division.

According to that, the LW championship has been vacant since Sweet Pea.

You seem obsessed with Goldenboy! Yes they own the ring but this has nothing to do with the ring. It's about the Lineal title, and Casamayor holds until somebody beats him in the ring.

Apparently, Castillo became the lineal champ after beating Lazcano. Corrales then beat Castillo.

That's not true. Corrales lost to Castillo and still kept the lineal title. Regardless, that's all semantics anyway. I'm attacking both the Ring and the lineal titles. Since Casa owns both, I'm killing two birds with one stone.

Oh please like any of this matters. Diaz is going to beat Casamayor then take care of Campbell by early next year.
    So all this is pointless.

Haven't seen that fght, but fighters who get beat at their own game face such an uphill battle it's actually hard to think they can reverse the first fight. What makes you think Diaz wins the next time around?

Why would you attack the Lineal title?! All it is is a record of who beat who and how the title has passed over the years. It's got no political connections and no connections to the ring or De La Hoya.

Well Diaz is still very young and after i saw him get roughed up by Campbells dirty tactics i saw it take something out of him. I dont think that has ever happened to him and he was shocked, its like he just lost all his focus and fought Campbells fight. IT was a learning experience for him. I see him preparing for this now and coming back better. Props to Campbell for fighting the fight of his life. Campbell im not so sure can top that performance. Even with this great performance by Campbell this was a pretty close fight which people seem to forget. Diaz won alot of those early rounds. People forget that because the last half was pretty dominating for Campbell.

Juan Diaz was awestroke and gave a below par performance while Campbell gave the fight of his life and this was a good close fight.

Besides time is ticking for Campbell and i dont see him getting any better especially since his style of fighting is nothing like Hopkins or Mayweathers. He is a pretty aggressive fighter.
