Hyde MMA's Leigh Cohoon is predicting a first round knockout in his fight against Andy Devant tonight on UCC 5! He also responds to the criticisms made about him on the Cage Warriors forum, talks about his fighting style and more!

Indeed, in the aforementioned interview with Devant, he expressed his opinion that he'd stop Cohoon either through ground and pound or by a standing KO. Leigh doesn't see either happening on Friday night.

"I can't see him pounding me out," noted the Champion. "In the Adam Waterfield one, I took a beating for ten minutes really, until it was standing and I finished him. He lost interest by beating me up. When I'm lay on my back, you can beat on me all day and you'll lose interest before I will, so I can't see him stopping me on the ground. You can never say never, but I'm looking for a stand up fight really."

"I've said to Alan that I'll fight anyone and I'm not bothered," began Leigh. "I wouldn't be in this sport if I was ducking people; it's like fighting an amateur fight without headshots, there's just no point really.

"There's people like Avi Jack, who think they've got some God given right to just slag me off and then they can just step in the cage and fight me. Personally, I think it should be put up or shut up. Firstly, you've got to be fighting on the show I'm fighting on to get a shot a prove yourself there, and you've got to step up who you fight. I don't think Jack's ever fought someone like Adam Waterfield or Andy Devant, and he's only fought a couple of guys that have won but he's calling me out. You only have to take a look at his record; he's never fought anyone as dangerous as me.

"I was quite annoyed at his comments, and there's a few others as well that have all been chipping in. I don't really go on it because it's just full of internet warriors. They must have the hardest fingers in the world. I've come in this sport to fight, and if you've got a problem with someone, lets do it mano e mano. Let's just settle it properly not on the internet. It's like saying, 'My dad beat your dad and my gym's better than your gym.' It's pathetic, it's schoolboy stuff and I'm not ducking anyone.

"It's all part of the parcel really. If it's not one thing, it's another, so I just try and make a laugh of it. After seven Pro fights, I'm still in situations where I'm not supposed to win and I'm fighting as the underdog. It just makes me laugh, so I love it really. Whatever you want to say, just bring it - I'm not arsed. I'm definitely not backing down or scared of anyone."
