Leigh Wood vs. Josh Warrington & Kieron Conway vs. Linus Udofia RBR.

This will be competitive for the first few rounds, then Conway will take over down the stretch and do enough to nick it on points.

 

Round 1 Conway 10-9

Conway starts the match on the front foot. Both establishing their jabs. Conway's more effective up top. As Conway comes in, Linus is landing one twos. He backs off. Jabbing again, keeping Linus at range. Conway looks massive.

 

I'm absolutely LOVING Billy Joe Saunders on commentary! He's always been a mouthy mother****er, I think he's found his way to his true calling. Which was always probably going to happen eventually.

Conway bringing steady pressure. Working behind the jab. Pins him on the ropes and lands a one two. Linus landing to the body a bit more now. Conway goes for a one two, missing by a hair. Linus throws a combo, misses wildly. Landing rights to the body. Not quite enough to edge round.

Kieron getting a bit more aggressive now, jabbing to the body. Linus jabbing upstairs, it's being parried. Conway cornering him more and more, Linus slipping out. One twos and jabs landing from Linus. Conway pins him, lands a one two. Jab to the body from Linus, one twos from Conway. Long one two from Conway late. Hard rights late from him.

Linus trying to keep it in the middle of the ring. Now he's pressing the action, throwing jabs to the body and following up with rights upstairs. Conway blocking the jab. He spins out, turns Linus and gets his back to the ropes. Linus jabing to the body pretty consistently now. Conway still pressuring, but not letting his hands go enough. Linus landing decent rights downstairs.

Linus lunging in now, landing rights, but just barely. Conway rolling with them well. Conway lands a heavy left hook, which rocks Linus. He follows up with a flurry. Linus back on the front foot. They trade heavy rights. Another right, Linus has a massive goose egg forming under his right eye. He's not reacting to it well at all.
